Apple Crisp Skillet
A gluten free and healthier apple crisp to enjoy this fall! We went to a local farm and picked up freshly picked apples for this recipe. It is truly farm to table!

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Grease an iron skillet (or baking dish) with oil
- Peel, core and thinly slice apples
- In a large bowl, add apples, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix together until apples are evenly coated
- Pour apple filling into skillet or baking dish. Set aside
- In another bowl, add all topping ingredients except butter and mix together. Once mixed evenly, add butter. Mash butter in with flour and oat mixture until it’s a crumbly consistency.
- Sprinkle over apple filling evenly.
- Bake in over for 40-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool and enjoy with vanilla ice cream
